T/Sgt. and Mrs. Maury W. Brown and small daughter, Susan, of Fort Worth, Texas, arrived Tuesday, August 11, to spend a 30-day furlough with Mr. and Mrs. M. W. Brown. At the end of his leave, T/Sgt Brown will report for duty in Greenland.

Mr. and Mrs. Sim Kilby and their baby, “Sonny” of Culpeper were dinner guests on Sunday of their aunts, Mrs. Helen Bruce and Mrs. E. W. Gore and their families.

A/2c Gerald Brown, who is station" ed at McDill Air Force Base, Fla., is spending a furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Maury W. Brown. A/^c Brown will return to his (base September 2. On Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. M. W. Brown and daughter, Miss Jean Brown, T/Sgt. and Mrs Maury W. Brown Jr. and baby of Fort Worth, Texas, and A/2c Brown enjoyed a picnic supper at the Pinnacles on Skyline Drive. On Friday evening, Miss Jean Brown and her brother and sister-in-law were guests of Mrs. Phyllis Brown Shirey in Front Royal.

Elder and Mrs. J. Harvey Daily will attend the Ebenezer Association at Stanley on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Mrs. F. D. Coffey Sr. is spending this week in Richmond with her sister, Mrs. May Goodman. W. N. Rector is visiting relatives in Fauquier. County. Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Hening left on Monday for a week’s visit with their friends in White Plains, N. Y. Mrs. Henry O’B. Cooper of Alexandria was a week-end guest of Miss Louise O’Bannon. Guests during last week of Elder and Mrs. J. H. Daily, were Mrs. Claudia Montrose ahd daughters, Beverly and Rosalind, Mrs. Walker and her daughter, Sarah Jane of Greenfield, Indiana, James Lon and Russell Rankins of Patuxtent River, Maryland. Guests this week in the' Daily home are Mr. and Mrs. Lee D. Wilgerson and Mrs. Marie Louise Hazen of Florida. Elder and Mrs. Daily attended the Association at Marshall during the week end.
