4-H’ers Enter County Contest
Fifteen 4-H’ers entered the county contest, Saturday morning, September 26 held at the Rappahannock High School. County winners were selected in each of the Home Economics projects. Prizes given were as follows. “ Breads: Betty Rutherford—b 1 u e ribbon, county medal; Carolyn Williams—red ribbon, foley award; Virgie Wines—white ribbon; Etta Campbell—placing ribbon; Geneva Wines—placing ribbon. Meal Preparation: Betty Rutherford—blue ribbon, area. Food for Pep: Joyce Pritchett—blue ribbon, foley award; BillvJWines— red ribbon; Patsy Woodwind—white ribbon; Elizabeth Latham—placing ribbon. - Room Improvement: Lelia Gentryblue ribbon, area. Looking Your Best: Annie Dodsonblue ribbon; Neville Wood—red ribbon.
