Destroyed By Fire
A fire of unknown origin completely destroyed the buildings of Waters & Co. in Culpeper, Tuesday morning, September 29. The fire was dis covered about 8:45 a.m. when the local fire department and rescue squad were summoned to the scene. ,'ompanies from Warrenton, Brandy, range and Amissville assisted the local company in extinguishing the lames. Through the skill of these “firemen the fire did.not spread to any ther business places or houses.

The Bloodmobile will come to Sperryville, Wednesday, October 14, and will be at Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church from 12 noon until 6 p.m. This blood is used first for the Armed Forces; there has never been a quota on the amount sent to the Department of Defense; it also goes to our civilian hospitals for the use of you and your family.
