A report on county camp was given by Johnny Jenkins, Mary Lou Davis told of county council meeting. Gub Teporters selected were Linda Lou Dodson and Jackie Rutherford. The girls were shown film color in the home during project work. iSperryville III 4-H meeting was held Thursday afternoon. Alice Dodson was selected club reporter. Carolyn Turner told of her camping experience and gave a report of county council. Gifts ironing package were shown to this group. '
At Belle Meade 4-H club Leroy Jenkins was selected as club reporter. Shirley Fincham joined the 4-H club this month. The joint project work was on the topic of “Doing your part in the home and in the group.”Forest
Grove 4-H decided to make Joan Cubbage and Ellen Gore club reporters. The girls cut out clothes basket covers during project work.
Amissville 4-H club had an outstanding 4-H meeting Friday. Two members sang “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reinder.” All committees gave a report. The School committee plans to keep school clean. The sick committee plans to buy cards and the club plans to make money by selling vanilla. The club reporters were: Elizabeth Latham, President; and Patsy Woodward, Secretary. County Council report was given by Elizabeth Latham. Barbara Sisk, program chairman, played the record “Why the Chimes Ring, and a demonstration on wrapping Christmas presents was given. During project work Mrs. Ralph Rowzie, 4-H leader, and agent helped the 4-H’ers cut out a, circular skirt.
Washington Sr. 4-H club was presided over by Lelia Gentry. During the program Remembering Special People, Rebecca Jones showed how to wrap a package and Frances Walker showed how to make bows for the packages.
During project wbrk the ironing package was shown. Becky Jones demonstrated making an ironing board cover.
