ON THE R.C.H.S. AGENDA _' FOR DECEMBER December 8—A basketball game was played at Stanley. December 9—The Future Homemakers of America with Mrs. C. B. Johnson, instructor, attended a federation meeting at the James * Wood H. S. in Winchester. December 11—In the afternoon a representative of Longwood College will talk to the juniors and seniors on the merits of higher education at Longwood in Farmyille.
In the evening the girls’ varsity club will: sponsor a Square Dance. December 18—The Future Farmers of America will present a minstrel in the school auditorium. December 22—School will close for the holidays at noon. School will reopen on January 4, 1954. The morning of December 22 will be spent in attending class parties and a Christmas program sponsored by the Glee Club. That evening the Student Cooperative Association will sponsor a formal dance for the school. The school as a whole is taking on a holiday appearance with evergreens trees, and packages appearing in larger quantities each day. If anyone can guess the contents of the gaily wrapped packages in the library, he will be presented with same. In spite of all the extra-cirricular activities of the season, classes go on as usual.
