Junior Day At R. C. H. S.
On December 4, the forty-nine Juniors of R. C. H. S. had a Class Day and a program sponsored by Miss Brown.
The Juniors wore badges with blue and white ribbons to identffy themselves. The students who refused to do'the things demanded of them by the Juniors, had to put on a performance before the school.
The Junior class presented a program consisting of dancing, singing, and various amusements. The setting for the play was the Winfrey’s Yacht. The program was opened with a song by the chorus girls. The teachers were impersonated by some of the students. Four girls, Jean and Peggy Clater and Pauline and Irene Jenkins, did the Hokey Pokey. The Hilltoppers sang “Mexican Joe.” Ann Yates and Betty Rutherford sang for us. We had several guitar selections by Dickie Dennis and J. T. Pullen. Junior Class Day was ended with a party by the Juniors and their invited guests.
