A 12-month feed plan, which bids fair to help solve Virginia’s intermittent drouth problems, will get top billing in discussions at the field day for farmers July 11 mt the Middleburg branch of VPI Agricultural Experiment Station.
Some of the State’s most extensive pasture tests, including grazing experiments for both dairy and beef animals, are underway at Middleburg. All farmers, professional agricultural workers, and others interested are invited for the field day. The program will begin at 1:30 p.m. and last until 4:00 p.m. On the agenda is a tour of the station, with VPI researchers stationed at the various stops to explain the tests. iW. H. Lyne will attend this tour and welcomes any farmers who would like to accompany him. He will leave the Court House in Washington at 12 p.m. on the 11th.
