Mrs. John Davis entertained on Saturday afternoon at 4:30 at her county home, “Hawthorne** in honor of her mother, Mrs. Me-’ Craken .and Mrs. H. O. Lyne. Those present were Mrs. C. E. Johnson, Mrs. C. H. H. Branch, Mrs. D. Lyle Miller, Mrs. John P. Snead, Mrs. R. E. Wood, Mrs. Fred Schaefer, Mrs. C. M. Hall* Mrs. Bertie Lib Moffett, Mrs, G. M. Black, Mrs. P. Lee Thornton, Mrs. T. J. Pillar and her mother, Mrs. Morrow, Mrs. W* M. Fletcher, Mrs. A. H. Buckner, Mrs. Charles Estes and Mrs.. W. H, Lyne who poured tea and Mrs. R. E. Wood who presided at the punch bowl.
