ASC Election Board
Fifteen persons have been selected by the County Election Board of Rappahannock County to serve on the Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Community Election Boards. They include: Stonewall—J. M. O’Bannon, Daniel Jacobs, Marvin Dodson; Wakefield—Nelson Atkins, Roland Welch, B. C. Jackson; Piedmont—C. M. Ramey, L. W. Buckley, Fielding Lewis; Hamp- _ ton—C. J. Miller, Jr., A. H. Keyser, George Beahm;- Jackson— I. L. Parrish, S. H. Martin, A. W. Woodward.
These members met August 20 and chose a slate of ten nominees for each community to be voted on in the forthcoming committee elections.
It was announced that names may be presented to Community Election Boards by petition of eligible farmers. If as many as ten eligible farmers present the names of persons eligible and willing to serve as committeemen whom they wish to be included on the ballots, the Community Election Board will include these names on the date of nominees. Petitions should be presented to Community Election Boards by no later than Sept. ? to be considered.
