Mrs. J. W. Major of Riverton, Mrs. George H. Davis, Mrs. B. R. Cox, Mrs. Wade H. Massie Jr., were dinnpr guests Monday of Mrs. Bertie Lib Moffett /it Lee Highway Hotel.

Among those from Rappahannock attending Senator Byrd’s picnic Saturday evening, August 28 were Downing Wood, W. H. Massie Jr., Wade H. Massie III, E. M. Jones, Lewis Turner, J. D. Keyser and J. W. Fletcher.

Sunday night supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Wade H. Massie III were Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Eastham and children, Dannie and Lizzie.

William Litsey and daughter, Ann joined their family for the week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. D. B. Smith.

Mrs. Edward Toetfer and family, Catherine, Norman and Edward spent the week end with the Litseys at their home at Spring House Farm.
