Mis* Clark Honored At Birthday Party
Mrs. Edward Clark entertained at a birthday party recently in honor of her daughter, Ruth Ann Clark’s seventh birthday. Guests were Ann and Jimmy Jenkins, Jimmy Settle, Tommy Fincham, Skippy Giles, Ronnie Hawkins, Betty Fincham, Wayne Pullen, Carl Clark, Doris Clark, Steve Baldwin, Steve Baily, Nina Baily, Dean Slack, Earl Slack and Donna Kay Slack. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Slack, Mrs. Robert Frazier and son, Bobby, and Mr. and Mrs. Leon Baily.
Ruth Ann received many useful presents. A yard party was planned but rain prevented it. Games were played and refreshments consisted of a birthday cake, ice cream, candy, popcorn, potato chips, cookies and soft drinks. All joined in singing happy birthday to little Miss Clark when the candles on the cake were glowing softly. Each child left around 6 o’clock wishing Ruth Ann many more happy birthdays. The children received balloons and party hats and prizes were awarded to winners of the games.
