A GOLDEN ROD WEDDING

Miss Annie Roades Keyser, daughter of Mrs. Annie C. Keyser and Mr. John P. Snead, Jr., of Fluvanna county were married in the Washington Baptist Church yesterday at 11 o’clock. Rev. S. W. Cole officiating.

The church was handsomely decorated with evergreens and golden rod.

The bride was attired in a handsome gray tailor-made suit with hat and gloves to match. Miss Frances Carter presided at the organ.

Immediately after the ceremony the happy couple took a hack for Culpeper, where they took an evening train for Richmond, where they will spend a few days at The Jefferson before going to the groom’s home in Fluvanna county.

Hubert P. Warden of Mexico, Missouri is visiting his mother near town. Mr. Ashby Warden is expected on Saturday. _Mrs. H. J. Miller and daughter, Gladys, are attending the W.B.T.U. State Convention at Portsmouth. Master Walter Miller accompanied them as far as Washington, D. C.
