The First Baptist Church of Washington will hold its regular church meeting Saturday night, December 4 before the first Sunday. We are urging all members to please be present for this last meeting of the year. BusinSSs of importance to be taken care of. Election of officers, planning for Christmas program and programs for the ingoing year. Please all members be present at this church meeting.

The First Baptist Church will have as her guest speaker Sunday, December 5, the Rev. Garnett, assistant pastor of Zion Baptist Church of Washington, D. C. Rev. Garnett is a blind evangelist who holds the honor of being the only blind person who holds three degrees from Howard University. Though being handicapped by blindness, he led the class. He holds A.B., B.D., and M.A. He has traveled extensively in the country and Canada. He has r preached in some of our largest churches in America. We want all of our friends to hear this man of God. The pastor asks those of our sister churches to come if it does not conflict with the church services.
Charles Kilby and his father, John Kilby visited John Kilby Jr., in the McGuire Hospital, Richmond, on Monday. John’s condition remains the'same.
Miss Virginia Lewis1 of Washington, D. C. was the week-tnd guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Lewis.
