Goals reached by county council were: Betty Rutherford made an All Star; Lelia Gentry, state winner in Home Improvement Contest and Winning trip to National 4-H Club Congress; Granville Fox, county winner attending state electric congress; A total of 50 “4-H Member Lives Here” signs; A “4-H of The Month” column in Rappahannock News telling of accomplishments of outstanding 4-H each month.
