The County Farm Home Committee will make the filial decision "as to whether the farmer is eligible to receive the freight allowance and how much hay he is entitled to under the program, in accordance with instructions from the Federal Government. ' -—— — ‘‘Generally speaking, an eligible farmer is entitled to enough hay to carry his foundation herds of —cattle, sheep or goats from the time he applied through March 1, 1955, or for 60 days, whichever is the longer period.
From March 1 until the end of the program on March 31, he can get up to another 60-day supply, provided he can get delivery by ' March 31.
If a farmer does not want to take delivery on his total allotment of hay at one time, he should apply for just the amount of hay on which he wants to take delivery and make a separate application for more hay later. '
Applications for less than one ton will not be approved by the County FHA Committee.
Hay ordered by a farmer in anticipation of approval by his} County FHA Committee is eftgible for the U.S.IXA. Freight Allowance, provided it is not delivered before the date of applications
