Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown entertained at a family dinner on Christmas Day. Their guests were Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown, Jr. and their two children, Susan and Margaret, Mr. and Mrs. P. Lee Thornton and son, Lee III, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Brown and Stevie of Leesburg, Rev. and Mrs. A. Paul Thompson. On Sunday, , Mr. and Mrs. Rodes Brown Jr. entertained the same group except Mr. and Mrs. Jack Brown and son, who returned to their home Saturday night.

Mr. and Mrs* G. R. Taylor were week-end guests of their brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lyne.

Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Smith and son of Gainesville and Miss Mary Helen Bruce of Richmond were week-end holiday guests of their mother, Mrs. Helen Bruce at Barlow.
