Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Smith of Amissville Jiave announced the marriage of their daughter, Jessie Miller, to 'Hammond Clark on _December 24th at 4 o’clock in the Herndon Methodist Church.

The bride wore a light blue taffeta dress and matching hat and a corsage of gardenias. She was attended by her sister-in-law, Mrs. Louise Smith. Andrew Smith brother of the bride, acted as best man. . —. ' - —

Immediately following the ceremony a reception for the family and a few close friends was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Smith. "After a trip South the couple will make their home at Vale, Va.

Mrs. Clarke graduated from Rappahannock' High School and worked for the Mount Vernon Mortgage Company for a number of years.

FIRST AID INSTRUCTION CLASSES TO BE HELD

A Standard Course in First Aid to be conducted by Instructor Nick Cascio will be offered to any interested persons in the county inthe very near future.
