This contest sponsored annually by the Ladies Auxiliary to the Fire Company had chosen as its theme for the year’s decoration: “Putting Christ Back Into Christmas.” The prizes were awarded on originality, artistry and color harmony, and displays included doorway, window and yard decorations.
Following the judging, members of the Auxiliary entertained the judges at a party at the home of Mrs. Irving Sisk.
