Jonas Alther of Fort Sill, Oklahoma arrived home Sunday to spend a 14-day leave with his wife and family and with his parents.
On Christmas Day, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Jiawkins and family „and Mr. and Mrs. Jonas Alther visited Mr. and Mrs. Wood Burke and family in Luray.
Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Turner, Miss Carolyn Gates Turner and Cadet John Turner were dinner guests on Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Jones and Mrs. J. Frank Jones.
Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Turner and family left Monday for Chase City where they will visit L. G. Turned and attend a Turner family reunion.
