lfte r ha ana my nomemaxing classes have helped me in | so many ways that it is hard to single out one way as the most help.
My mother and step-father both work in Arlington and leave for work about'5:30 in the!morning 'and do not get home until about 6:30 in the evening. Consequently, I have all the cooking and housework to do. Through my homemaking classes, f have learned how to budget my time so as to get all done that has to be done in the shortest amount of time. I have learned how to prepare economical meals attractively in a short length of time, and I can iron ja man’s starched shirt in 10 minutes flat! Through the FHA, I havje gained insight into my family and community recreation problems, and as a result, my family members enjoy each other more than they used. to.
Our chapter of FHA has been fairly inactive for .the past two years, but this year I feel that there has been much more interest in the chapter and that the chapter has been strengthened through this interest. i
This year our Chapter took for its goal, one of the purposes, teaching ourselves to realize and accept our responsibilities in our homes.
