4 Candidates Vie For
Rappahannock Sheriff
Four candidates, Frank Huff, J. W. Critzer, J. E. Keyser and Joel Jenkins, have announced for the office of Sheriff in Rappahannock County. a
Frank Huff, a resident of \yashington, affirms his running in a statement released this week. Age 33, Mr. Huff is married and the father of 3 children. He hsu served with the Armed Forces overseas duty and in civic affairs' is captain of the Washington Rescue Squad and a member of the Fire Department.
J. E. Keyser, a well known • farmer and cattle dealer, also announced this week that he was a candidate. A native of Rappahannock, Mr. Keyser makes his home near Flint Hill.
Although J. W. Critzer, the imeumbent, has not officially announced his candidacy, it is believed, generally, that he will enter the race. A resident of Washing-. ton for many years, Mr. Critzer was appointed to the office of sheriff May 18th, 1950 and elected in 1951.
Joel Jenkins, inail carrier on the Front RoyaPCulpeper Route, declared his candidacy for the position last week. Mr. Jenkins lives in Flint Hill.
