Can you believe that Jesus thought of all people as evil?
These are Jesus’ words taken from the fifth chapter of. the gospel according to Luke: “They that are whole need not a physician; hut they that are sick (do). I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to- repentance."
These words were spoken by Jesus as he was being feasted by . Levi whom he had called to follow him. Levi, it seems, had the desire to follow Jesus and needed to put into action what he already knew he should, do. When he heard , Jesus’ call, “He left all, rose up, and followed him."
