Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Updike have announced the marriage of their daughter, Phyllis Hope, to Airman Second Class William T. Cooper, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Cooper of Shelbyville, Tennessee. The marriage took place in Roslyn, Georgia on March 26 at 8 p.m. ' The couple are making their home at Bowling Field Air Base.
Dogwood Planting Time The Future Farmers of America and 4-H members plan to cooperate with the Town of Washington in planting Dogwoods on April 14th.
Due to the drought last year a few died. Plans are to replace these as well as many more. If you would like to have a dogwood to plant on your property just call Ruby Jenkins and the boys will be happy to bring you one by, on the 14th.
