Paid Their Taxes

According to a recently published list, 1676 individuals in Rappahannock County have “paid all of the taxes required of them by law 6 months prior to the election to be held in November” and are therefore “qualified” voters.

Hampton and Wakefield Districts account for the largest number of votes numbering 414 and 378 respectively. Piedmont is a poor third with only 299 listed Jackson fourth with 259; Stonewall fifth with 204; and Haw- ; thorne, last, with 122 listed voters.

This voting list, however, does not necessarily include all qualified voters. There will be additional lists including these voters not,on the published list at each precinct voting headquarters. If your name does not appear on the published list, however, it would be advisable to check into the situation before election day.
