Mr. and Mrs. James M. Settle attended the funeral of Frank Bowersett at BurtonsVille, Md7 Thursday.

Joining in the May Day and Homecoming festivities at Lynchburg College last week end were Mr. and Mrs. Paul Nichols, alumni of that school. Trey visited the Rev. Claude Cook and family in Lovingston, Sunday. »

The Rev, apd Mrs. H. G. Thach had as guests Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Norwood Williams of Roanoke Rapids, N. C., Mr. and . Mrs. Walter Sadler of Brunswick County, and Miss Edith Mosely and her mother of Broadnax.

Mr. and Mrs. Howard McFall were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Moore.
