Mr. and Mrs. B. N. Eubank of Roanoke arrived Sunday for a visit of several days with Mrs. J. Frank Jones and Mr. and Mrs. EX M. Jones and family. They left Tuesday morning for their home in Roanoke.
Mrs. J. Frank Jones was a guest last Thursday of Mrs. F. D. .Wood.
Mr. and Mrs. Downing Wood entertained as their guests Tuesday evening, Miss Lucy Conrad, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Wood, Mrs. F. D. Wood, Miss Irene Keyser and Miss Betty Blagg.
Mrs. J. Frank Jones, Misses Segar and Becky Jones were Sunday afternoon visitors at Randolph Macon Academy.
Mr. and Mis. L. J. Turner and daughter, Carolyn, attended ,a Turner famliy reunion at Chase City, Sunday. Each year the Turner clan gathers on the Sunday closest to the day on which L. G. Turner’s (L. J. Turner’s father) birthday falls.
