This made it possible for drivers to drive directly to fhe hanger, and there were boys to direct parking and give any necessary information. Everything was done to make the flight enjoyable.
While I was waiting for our * flight (imagine my feelings if possible), one of the teachers just returning from hers remarked that flying was a little rough and the safety belts were used. My thoughts immediately flew to the story I heard about one certain lady and her safety belt on the way to Florida. I began to wonder of one would go around me and if I could get it fastened. The firstthing I did when I reached my seat was to hunt for that safety belt. I was relieved to find it plenty big and fastened it before we started. I was taking no chances there! We were not told to use them until returning to land. Flying was somewhat rough due to rather heavy wind yesterday and to the fact that we did not go above 2500 ft. for we were sightseeing. We traveled between ,230 and 240 miles per hour, but this seemed so very slow. I remarked that my "Chevy” goes faster than this. The flight was an exciting experience that I never expected to have.
I am very grateful and thrilled for the opportunity of the Education Air Lift and that I did not let by arthritic bones and fear keep me from taking advantage of it. Mrs. Brucie Bruce it’s your turn now! [
