Mrs. Ruby Cannon entertained Castleton Home Demonstration Club Tuesday afternoon. The duh appointed Miss Elsie Courtney as secretary and treasurer. Five members plan to join the county trip to Gettysburg and Hershey. TTiey joined in the demonstration “Arranging Accessories for the Living Room.” .
Mrs. Lucia Kilby was hostess of the Sperryville H. D. club, Tuesday night. Guest speaker at the meeting was Miss Nora Dillon. The demonstration was on “Using Accessories in the Living Room.” ,
A representative group of 4-H planned the project work for next year at the 4-H planning meeting Wednesday. Each club selected projects for 1955-56 school year. Six demonstrations or topics were chosen for each project. Projects selected were: So You’d Like To Sew, Housekeeping, Looking Your Bpst and Room Improvement.: Helping the 4-H’ers with the project planning were the 4-H leaders Mrs. Frank Cary and Mrs. Mabel Lillard. 4-H'ers present were Frances Walker, Dorothy Pullen, Ann Cox, Mollie Smith, Sue Many,‘Paula Miller, Lelia Gentry Ginger Russell, Jean Lillard* Becky Jones and Peggy Sisk.
