Lloyd M. Atkins
Lloyd Monroe Atkins, retired farmer of Sperryville, died at his residence Saturday, May^21 after a brief illness.
Mr. Atkins, 78 years of age, was the son of Kelly Atkins and Mrs. Eliza Jenkins Atkinrof Rappahannock County.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. daughters, Mrs. -Alvin Atkins, Martha Atkins of Sperryville; five Mrs. Ashby Pullen, Miss Sally Atkins of Sperryville, Mrs.' Virge .Atkins of Flint Hill and Mrs. Brook Dodson of Sperryville; one lister, Miss Ida Atkins of Linden; two brothers, Herbert Atkins and Ashby Atkins of Sperryville; 16 grandchildren.
Burial services were held Monday afternoon at 1 JO in the family section of the Sperryville Cemetery. The Rev. Harold Thach conducted the last rites.
Active pallbearers were Roy Atkins, Roy Leake, Cecil Atkins, Dolan Jenkins, Alson Atkins and Leonard Atkins.
