Jinx still holds! Jackie Sisk and team mates again victimize A.C.’s.
The Washington Chiefs defeated the Flint Hill A.C.’s and added another scalp to their hunting belt. The Chiefs collected 8 runs on 10 hits. The A.C.’s banged out 6 well' scattered hits and remained scoreless the entire game.
John Pickle went most of the route for Flint Hill but was voluntarily shifted to right field in the late stages of the game due to a sore arm. He gave a good account of himself throughout the game by striking out 6 batters and fattening his batting average by banging out 3 hits. I dare say the Washington fans would have been less jovial if he had not pitched an exhibition game in Front Royal, Friday night.
Flint Hill went to Middletown, Sunday and North had a one hitter going into the 5th with eight strike outs to his credit. Luckily for our. opponent the game was rained out. The A-C.’s go to Oak Grove this Sunday. Enough said.
