Mr. and Mrs. Irving bisk, Jr. spent Saturday night with Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Woodward.
Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Cary were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Aylor.
Many of those who attended the Carnival sponsored Friday night * by the Culpeper Volunteer Fire Department, saw Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Link and children, Dannie and Margaret. The Link family accompanied the Nokesville Band which (as usual) captured a prize. (Young Dannie plays coronet in the school band.)
Tommy Hitt, a former residenf of Washington, also attended the parade, representing the Orange Volunteer Fire Department. Mr. Hitt and his family now make their home in Orange.
Mr. and Mrs C. R. Racer, Mrs. H. J. Racer, Mrs. R. E. Biedler and Johnny and Elsie Mae Jenkins spent Sunday at Fairview Beach.
Sgt. Olan Jenkins spent the week end and Memorial Day with Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Jenkins and family. Mr. and Mrs. Jenkins and Roy and * Eleanor Jenkins, accompanied Sgt. Jenkins to Fort Meade, Monday night.
Mr. and Mrs. Warren Payne and family of Richmond and Mr. and Mrs. Isaiah Burke and family of Berryville were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Jenkins and family.
Mrs. R. E. Biedler arrived Friday to spend several days with her mother, Mrs. H. J. Racer. Monday evening, she was joined by Mr. Biedler and they returned to • Washington, D. C., Tuesday morning. Mrs. Biedler and Mrs. Racer shopped*, in Front Royal, Tuesday morning.
