The fifth Sunday in any month is considered a rest day for the preacher, but the Rev. H. G. Thach never finds it so. He and Mrs. Thachspent the week end in Hartford, N. C. where he preached in his home church. The Rev M. Claude Cook has had the same experience, being fifth Sunday since he entered the ministry last June, he preached at Willis Chapel at 10 o’clock and at Flint Hill Methodist Church at 11 o’clock, returning to his home in Lovingston to prtach a Baccalaureate Sermon for the high school graduating class there Sunday night. While in Flint, Hill,' Mr. Cook and daughter, Linda were guests of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. P. CookDr.
and Mrs. T. G. Pullen of Baltimore spent the long holiday week end at their home iti Flint Hill. . I
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cary had as their guests Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Chalhley of Washington, D. C. and Mr. and Mrs. James Rudolph of New York, Friday.
