Charles Eston Carter, retired fanner of Rixeyville, died at h» residence Saturday, May 21 following a long period of declining health. f,
Mr. Carter, 80 years of age, was the son of the late Arthur T. Carter and his wife, Mrs. Mittie Weaver Carter of Rappahannock County.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ellen Kinsey Carter of Rixeyville; one daughter, Mrs- George Johnston of Boston; one son, William B. Carter of Front Royal; and 4 grandchildren, Miss Joyce Carter of Front Royal, Mrs. Paul Karnes
