Recently all of our Clubs went to a meeting at one of the high schools here in Virginia. We had a wonderful time but were very disappointed when we found out that ours was the only school that could not have a meeting, because our school was too small 1 Another thing that we found out about our school is that it is very difficult for us during basketball season. We don’t come to school to participate in sports, but to learn but you can understand why we feel, well—sort of embarrassed when such large schools as Loudoun County, and Culpeper come to R.C.H.S. to play in our gymnasium. 1 say our gvm, but really aye have to go to Sperryville for practice and games, because our gym is too small. Sometimes when there is a game we all can’t get into the gym without being terribly crowded, so therefore, we stand in the hall. Why???

There are four classrooms around our auditorium at the High School and trying to hear above all the noise of indoor physical education classes, and basketball games can be pretty difficult at times, don’t you agree?

We certainly are lucky to have a good music teacher, and we do appreciate all the much needed advice and, help that she gives us, but “why” do we have to “yell” above all the noise of the changing of classes, a basketball game and many other noises that flow into the stage, and the room where we meet for our music class?
