CHEER LEADING NEWS
The Cheer leaden have been practicing three times a week. We have not chosen' the Varsity as of yet. There are about twentyfive going out for cheer leading. Three more cheer leaden are needed on the Varsity. The Varsity will be picked from last year’s Junior Vanity. The three cheer leaden that are on the vanity from last year are: Neville Wood, Frances Walker and Georgia Standish.
GLEE CLUB
The High' School Glee Club has started reheaning for their Christmas Program.
On Friday, November 4, at Five Forks Baptist Church, the^ funeral of Mr. Burnam Corbin, our former janitor, was held.
At the request of the family the Glee Club was asked to help with the singing. Approximately 15 of the members attended. The hymns sung at the church were: "Amazing Grace", “Rock of Ages", and “The Old Rugged Cross”. The graveside service was concluded with singing “God Will Take Care of You”.
