11 Girls Show Up For
Basketball Practice
The first day 11 girls showed uo for basketball practice. Some of the girls didn’t know about it soon enough ahead of time to be ready. The girls were requested to have shorts and- shirt outfit, wool socks and tennis shoes. We practiced shots, played a little and ran, ran, ran. The plans for this year are for us to be prepared to run all over the large courts we have played on.
The second practice there were 21 people out. They were;
Faye Black, Rachael Many, Margaret Ann Devers, Bernice Nethers, Carolyn Turner, Joan Nethers, Charlotte Atkins, Pat Frazier, Mildred Many, Betty J. Settle, Betty Bruce, Shirley Jenkins, Judy Hawlcins. Normie Davis, Neville Wood, Becky Jones Dolly Smith, Betty Sisk, Jean Presgrave*.
