At subsequent meetings of the Department ant) after discussion of the matter with law inforcement officials of the county, since no fireman who was present would prefer charges against the offenders, it was decided to discontinue the dances although they have been a valuable source of revenue for the meeting of monthly expenses. -
Mr. Tear wishes to express his regrets to the patrons who have heretofore supported the dances and 'to state that it was only because no witnesses to the affray would take a definite stand toward law and order in the county that he advocated and pushed for the vote which was finally taken.
