FOUR-H CLUB NEWS
The Flint Hill 4-H Club meeting was held Monday night, November 7 at Mrs. Sutphin’s home. There were about eighteen members present, including the leaders.
The president, Paula Miller, called the meeting to order,. The secretary’, Miss Atkins, read the minutes of the last meeting. Doris Ann Atkins read the scripture, in the absence of our devotional leader. ‘ The new business included discussion on achievement day and plans for a Christmas Party. Committees were elected to help with this. A reporter for the club was elected. We had the pledge and motto and then divided for project work.
Later we played games and were served refreshments. The next meeting will be> held with Mrs. Jane Corbin.

F. H. A. NEWS
The Future; Homemakers of America held their first meeting in October.
At this meeting Frances Walker and Betty Lou Atkins gave very interesting reports on the State F.H.A. Convention, held at Madison College in June.
Going to the Federation meeting in Berryville, Va. was discussed.
We have 76 members in this chapter, which is an increase of 10 over last year.
The club attended the Fede, ration meeting in Berryville on November 2, at which we had 69 members present.
Jehane Dellinger is our Federation Treasurer and Chapter President.
Each chapter was 'responsible for twenty-five minutes of the pro- * gram, using one of the State goals as the basis of their program. Our goal was “How F.H.A. activities can contribute to school and community life.” We gave a series of skits emphasizing our goal. All the classes participated.
