to Fayettesville, N. C. Wednesday due to the illness of her daughter, Mrs. George E. Terry. Mrs. Terry, at last report was improving satisfactorily. Her infant son, George E. Jr. is still ill jmd remains in the Fort Bragg Hospital.
Mrs. M. C. Corder left Sunday for Fayettesville, N. C. to spend some time with Sgt. 'IstC and Mrs. George E. Terry.
David Alther is quite ill at the home of Mrs. Bertha Brock.
The first snow of the season fell Saturday morning, making many children happy as visions of snow ice-cream and sleigh-riding danced in their heads. Mothers were somewhat less happy as they spread papers on their clean floors to soak up some of the snow from forgotten galoshes.
Authur Smoot and son, Robbie Lee, were Friday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Smoot.
