Breaks Collarbone

Mrs. John Updike of Washington, suffered a broken collar-bone Friday evening when the pick-up in which she was riding hit sinow on the shoulder of the road, while passing another vehicle and skiqded into the ditch. I

Mrs. Updike and three font were returning from Culpeper, when the accident occured near Greenaway’s gate.

The Rescue Squad of the Washington Y. F. D. rushed Mrs. Updike to the Warren Memorial Hospital, Front' Royal, where she was treated for a cut on her head and a broken collarbone. Following the treatment she returned ! to her home near Washington. T!he three boys were unhurt. There was little damage to the pick-up. |
