I want to thank you and youp paper for the fine job you did in raising money for the repair work on old Mt. Salem Baptist Church.
I would like to report that tie chimney has been repaired and that in the near future work will be begun on the roof and ceiling. I appreciate the interest that the folks have shown in restoring this historic Church and we are looking forward to a homecoming day this summer when the completely restored building can be re-dedicated to the Lord’s service.
Inasmuch as the good people of, Rappahannock county and other neighbors have made this work possible when it is all completed I will send to your paper a complete report on the work done and the money expended.
