*Twenty-five or more years ago, the Reverend W. Francis Allison ' came to Rappahannock to make a home and pastor a people. During /hi* ten years here the Episcopal churches in Speriyville and WashJ ington grew rapidly. The dream the congregations had of a rectory became a reality under the pastor’s •guidance. His was the first family to make their home in the Rectory

* Before coming to Rappahannock, Mr. Allison had under his charge the churches in Brandy, Remington, Washington, Sperryville, and Madison. Before the Rectory was completed, the Reverend and-his family lived in the Sealock house. Mr. Allison rented, an office for ,hi* study from Miss Louise O'Baiinon, in Sperryville.

From Rappahannock, Mr. Allison and family moved to Belvedere, N.J., and then to Montrose, Pennsylvania where Jie has ministered for 8 Vi year*.
