Flint Hill Homemaker* Club met in the home of Mrs. Robert Clatterbuck Tuesday evening. The trip to New York and the United Nations building was discussed, and several members told of their plans to take advantage of this opportunity,
Mrs. Gentry and Mrs. Wade Pullen gave the demonstration on one dish meals and skillet meals, and use of the pressure sauce pan. Cookies and hot spiced tea were served for refreshments as well as sfmples of the two dishes prepared in the demonstration, ^including
a pork chop and vegetable dinner cooked in the pressure sauce pan and a tuna, egg casserole.Mrs.
Frank Cary was hostess to the Woman’s Society of Christian Service Thursday evening. Routine matters were discussed during the business meeting, and it was decided not to have a big dinner for the church until the weather was a little warmer. A tentative date was set for late in February. ,
Mrs. Paul Miller presented a schedule for the ladies to use in decorating the church with flowers and having the meetings fat their homes during the coming year. Mrs. G. W. Smith will put flowets in the church during the month of February.

The Lou Jteyser Cidde of the Washington Baptist Church tnet Friday 13th with Mrs. Charles G. Reid.
Miss Mary Miller Wood, president, conducted the program. The secretary, M«i C. R. Racer, read the minutes of the last meeting, and read several letters received.
Among those taking part on the program were3 Mrs. Willie Payne Miss Gladys Payne, Mrs. Reid, Mrs. Racer, Mrs. V. R. Updike and Mrs, Bruce Bowie.
The circle will meet with Mrs. C. R. Racer in February.
