Graveside services were held in Arlingtoh Cemetery on Tuesday at 11:30 a. m. for Mrs. Elizabeth Johnson Purcell widow of the late R. J. Purcell, who died in the Alexandria Hospital Thursday February 9th following a month's illness with pneumonia and a serious heart condition. Mrs. Purcell was 74 years old and wlas a daughter of the late Charles N. Johnson and Mary A. Johnson of Sperryville. '
Those surviving are six brothers, C. F. Johnson of Dayton, Ohio, C. N. Johnson, Tipp City, Ohio-, Bertram A. Johnson of Covington, Ohio, A. N. Johnson -of Washington, D. C., J. B. Johnson of Sperryville, Clyde Johnson of Culpeper.
Among those attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Ji. B. Johnson, Mrs. Fred Schafer! and Clyde Johnson. |
