Charles H. Huff
Cliarles Henry Huff Sr., 79, died at 11:50 p. m. Wednesday at his home, 420 Fairvicw Avenue, Waynesboro, Penna. ,He had suffered a stroke in 1947 and recovered partially, but had been critically ill this week. He was bom in Ringgold, Md., the son of William J. and Mary Hafne Huff and spent his early life in Ringgold. From 1904j until 1917 he lived jn Washington, Va. He returned to Waynesboro and for a year was employed at the Val Smith store. He purchased a farm near Ringgold where he farmed until his retirement in 1926. '4 From 1926 until April of ^944 he was employed at the Landis. Tool Company. In 1950 he moved to Waynesboro. Surviving are his wife, Mary Fogg Huff, (formerly of Rappahannock County) and the following children: Mrs. Charles C. Coss of Breathedsville, Md., Charles H. Huff Jr. Washington, D. C., Mrs. Ray Motz, Waynesboro, and Joseph Huff of Blue Ridge Summit; ten gfandchildren; three great grandchildren; two brothers, John Huff of Hagerstown and Walter Huff of Ringgold, Md.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Grove Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. Leroy Perry. Interment was in Ringgold Cemetry.
Friends and relatives in Rappahannock wish to extend their sympathy to the immediate family.

The Commonwealth versus Henry Lee Cook, Jr., charged with no weight markings on truck; fined $10 and costs. R. F. Hoskins , was the arresting officer.
The Commonwealth versus Chester Jones, of Ataiissvjlle, charged with trapping without a license; fined $10 and costs. Game Warden Fred W. Hottle was the arresting officer. j ; marriage licenses
