Hostess To WSCS *
The Womans Society of Christian Service of the M. E. Church met on Wednesday evening; with Mrs. 'Ennis Brown. After the opening hymn “Work for the "Night is Coming” with Miss Betty Bruce at the piano the devotional was conducted by the president. The subject for the month’s lesson: "The World’s Laborer, Worthy of His Hire”was presented by several of the members. 1 ’
After the business session, Mrs. Brown served refreshments to the ten members present.
The meeting for March will be in the home of Mrs. Emma Swindler with Mrs. Net us Brown as co-hostess.

Mr. James H. Lauck of the Kennels has returned to his home after spending the month of January with Mrs. Gertie Springer in Arlington.
Mrs. M. H. Brady is gaining strength after several days of illness at her home. Franklin Riley sustained painful injuries to his ankle while practicing basketball, Saturday evening. It is believed that no bones are broken but that it is severely sprained. Franklin is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Riley.
