Mrs. Clarence B. Dorsey, president of the Slate Mills Home Demonstration Club, accompanied by Mrs. Edward W. Green and Mrs. Olney Kennedy, attended the February meeting of the Washington H. D. Club held at the Episcopal Rectory last Tuesday evening.
Mrs. Cleveland M. Ramey has been suffering from a bad cold.
Friday, afternoon Mrs. Lynn Dulaney and Miss Ouida Shotwell of Falls Church called on the Miller sisters.
On Friday Mrs. Audie L. Weaver was called to the bedside of her mother, Mrs. W. H. Curtis of Madison, who is seriously ill.
Mr. and Mrs. Conner G. Jenkins and son, Richard were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Sisk of Sperryville.
Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Thornhill of “Rag View” had as their dinner guests Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Boyd, who left Monday for Marysville, Teno.*
