Mrs. R. L. Payne of Washington, D. C. was a guest over the weekend of Mrs. Lena Wayland and Mrs. J. S. Weaver.
Mrs. Preston Avery of Atlanta Ga., Mrs. Robert Caldwell, Mrs. Grover Robinson and daughter, Gladys of Pensacola, Fla.v who have been visiting Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Miller and Mrs. Bartow Brown for several days; left today Thursday, for College Park, Md. where they wll visit Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Speake. Before coming to Rappahannock they were in Winchester. Va. for a short visit to Mr. and Mrs. Harold Brown.
E. M. Jones was in St. Joseph, Michigan last week attending the National Apple Institute. He was accompanied on the trip by Mrs. Jones and their three children.
