To Go On Sale ;
The map committee, under the. leadership of Mrs. Isaac Parrish, has been working hard and long to . prepare a map of Colonial Rappahannock. On this map colonial houses and roads will be marked in relation to the ■ present day roads. Pictures of some of the old places will be printed on the map. pamphlets with further information will accompany the map. The maps will be suitable for framing and the pamphlets will be something that you will want to keep. I’m sure that when you see these works of art you will realize that you cannot afford to be without eithef the map or the pamphlet. The two will be on sale in the - next few days for $ 1.00.
This project is in conection " with the Jamestown Festival. However, research is not going to end here. We hope to keep gaffing information so that later vewill be able to put-out a more complete booklet on the history of Rappahannock County, its housed and families. We feel that each family in Rappahannock will certainly want a map for itself and possibly several as gifts to friends. Watch for these maps in the near future. We feel sure that you _ wil be proud to own one. They are really works of art.
