Warren Hospital Fund Drive Still
Needs $15,000
The drive to raise $100,000 for a new wing at the Warren Memorial Hospital has reached the $85,000 mark, according to Chairman Chester R. Dodd, who urged volunteers to complete their solicitations as soon as possible. Headquarters for the Warren Memorial Hospital Fund Drive, located in the Minter Bulding on Main Street, will be closed after ■ Friday of this week, said Crairman Dodd, who asked that additional contributions be mailed to the Citizen’s National Bank in Front Royal. “We still need $15.000 and I believe we can raise it,” commented Dodd, in urging that resirents of Warren and nearby counties make their donations as generous as possible. Several local events have been scheduled to bnefit the Building Fund Drive. The Cavalette Club of Front Royal is sponsoring a dinner on Father’s Dav. June 10. from noon until 6 p.m. at the Vn'tvn Hall: the Women's Auxiliary of the Warren Memorial Hospital is donating a new Chevrolet station wagon, with a drawing to he held on June 29; and the Frout Roval Baseball Club will sponsor a basebell game on the night of Tune 29. The proposed new hospital win** will increase the number of available beds from 47 to 79 and will add manv other services to the local hospital.
